★ The Process

How Tax Allstars actually works

We're not a tax firm. We coordinate the right licensed professionals for your specific IRS problem and manage everything around that relationship.

Two roles. Clear separation. No confusion.
Tax Allstars (Brokentoy LLC)

The Coordination Layer

  • Intake, case management, and workflow tracking
  • Document collection and secure vault organization
  • Matching you with the right licensed professional
  • Scheduling and communication between you and your pro
  • Milestone tracking through resolution
  • Keeping your case organized and moving forward
We never
  • Provide tax advice or strategy
  • Interpret IRS notices or filings
  • Represent you before the IRS
  • Tell you what resolution option you qualify for
Your Licensed Professional

The Resolution Expert

  • Reviews your complete financial and tax picture
  • Advises on which resolution strategy applies to you
  • Files IRS Form 2848 to represent you officially
  • Communicates directly with the IRS on your behalf
  • Prepares and submits applications (OIC, IA, etc.)
  • Carries E&O insurance and professional licensure
Independent of Tax Allstars
  • The professional is licensed independently and holds direct professional responsibility to you
  • Your professional relationship exists between you and the licensed pro — not Tax Allstars
Your case, from intake to resolution
1
Tax Allstars — Coordination

You complete the secure intake form

You tell us about your IRS situation — what type of problem you have, roughly what's owed, and whether you've received any notices. No tax advice is given at this stage. Our team reviews the intake administratively to prepare your case file.

~5 minutes
2
Tax Allstars — Coordination

We build your case file and request documents

Our coordination team creates your secure case vault and sends you a document checklist — IRS transcripts, prior returns, income verification, or whatever's relevant to your situation. You upload documents to your secure folder; we organize them.

1–2 business days
3
Licensed Professional — Expert Review

A licensed professional reviews your case

The assigned Enrolled Agent, CPA, or tax attorney reviews your complete case file and contacts you to discuss your specific situation. They advise on what resolution paths apply to you, realistic outcomes, and what it will take to get there — with no obligation to proceed.

Professional engagement begins
4
Licensed Professional — Active Representation

Your pro files Form 2848 and takes over IRS contact

Once engaged, your licensed professional files IRS Form 2848 — the Power of Attorney — authorizing them to represent you directly. All IRS communications go through them. You stop fielding IRS calls, letters, and notices.

IRS-authorized representation

Licensed Professional + Tax Allstars — Active Phase

Strategy is executed. We track every milestone.

Your licensed professional works the case — preparing applications, negotiating payment terms, filing delinquent returns, or pursuing other resolutions. Tax Allstars tracks milestones and keeps your vault updated. You always know where things stand.

Weeks to months depending on case type
6
Resolution

Case resolved. File closed.

When your case reaches resolution — an accepted OIC, an approved installment agreement, a CNC status, or cleared delinquent filings — your licensed professional confirms the outcome in writing. Tax Allstars closes the file and retains records per our data policy.

Things people ask before starting
No. Tax Allstars (operated by Brokentoy LLC) is an administrative coordination service. We are not a tax firm, CPA firm, or law firm. We do not provide tax advice, prepare returns, or represent anyone before the IRS. Those services are provided exclusively by independently licensed Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and tax attorneys who are engaged directly with you as your professional.
Absolutely — you can hire a licensed professional directly and that's a perfectly valid path. What we add is the organizational and operational layer: intake management, document collection, vault organization, case tracking, and professional matching. Many people facing IRS problems are overwhelmed. We remove the friction of knowing who to call, what to send them, and how to stay organized through a process that can take months.
Your assigned licensed professional — a licensed Enrolled Agent, CPA, or tax attorney — handles all IRS contact and negotiation. They file Form 2848 (Power of Attorney) to represent you officially. Tax Allstars does not negotiate with the IRS or communicate with the IRS on your behalf in any capacity.
Professionals in our network are independently licensed (EA, CPA, or tax attorney) and carry professional liability (E&O) insurance. Matching is based on the type of IRS issue you have — not every licensed professional handles every case type, and we route accordingly. You are always informed who your professional is and their credentials before any engagement begins.
Your total fee includes two distinct components, disclosed separately: an administrative coordination fee earned by Brokentoy LLC, and a professional services fee earned by your assigned licensed professional. These are shown as separate line items in your Client Services Agreement. Fees are earned as milestones are completed — not as a lump sum at the end.
All documents are stored in an access-controlled vault. Your assigned licensed professional receives access only to your specific case folder. Coordinators handle document organization without reviewing tax content. You provide explicit consent for information sharing under IRS Section 7216. Access is revoked for all parties when a case is closed.
